Darshan Kumar Amrutlal Naik is a respected advocate, social worker, and public leader from the Olpad region of Surat, known for his dedication to public service and his fearless stand for the rights of common people. Born into a farmer family in South Gujarat and inspired by the ideals of freedom fighter Late Shri Dada Chhotubhai Lallubhai Naik, he entered public life at a young age with a strong commitment to serve society. He currently serves as the General Secretary of the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC). Over the years, he has held several important leadership positions, including Director of Sayan Sugar Cooperative Mill and President of Sarvodaya Jan Kalyan Charitable Trust, Surat. He has also served as District President of the Surat District Congress Committee and as Leader of Opposition in the Surat District Panchayat for a decade, consistently working for the welfare of farmers, the poor, and underprivileged communities.
In addition, he contributes to the education, health, and sports sectors as a Trustee and Committee Member of Jinan Raxa Hospital, Vice President of D.R.G.D. Public High School, Member of the Surat District Cricket Association, and President of Anand Volleyball Club, Olpad, earning him recognition as a trusted and influential voice across the region.
